Project Manager, Store Development

Purpose and Scope: Responsible for the execution of all capital projects for their respective Account for the Men's, Women's and Home brands.


Responsibilities:



Inspection of "hand-off" package received from "sales" group for completeness. Review of the planned sales information (capacity, size, budget, etc.) against proposal. Work with Sales to resolve variances.
Design of the Shop in AutoCAD/Access including: Fixture Plan, Reflected Ceiling, Demolition, New
Construction, Flooring etc.; Bidding of the Millwork Package to all approved vendors; Assignment of the
Decorative Package; Checking the budget against the proposal cost; Checking planned volume and capacity
against proposal package; Resolve variances with Sales; and verification of the Installation date.
Upon acceptance of the package the project manager is responsible for the verification of the installation date and the reception of milestone dates from the awarded millworker. Check and approve shop drawings from millworker. Receipt of final cost from millworker and check against budget. Issuance of final decorative to account for ordering.
Request grand opening dates, sales events, management walk-through, and store prototyping dates to ensure timely installations. Procure capital review meeting dates, installation dates, and General construction turnover dates.
Post Final Plan in Sales Dashboard (future requirement) and provide final cost and shop statistics (sf, capacity, etc.) information for Store Master File Update.
Upon the Accounts reception of proposal package, follow up to solicit approval. Resolve any issues as required and reissue package for approval.


Requirements:



5-7 years of experience in Retail Design or High End Residential/Commercial Architecture/Interior Firms.
Project Management Experience in areas of millwork, construction, budgets, schedules and analysis.
5 years minimum experience in AutoCAD. Able to produce plan, elevations and construction documents as required for projects to the specifications of the office.
Proficient in office suite of applications, Microsoft Word, Excel.
