Quality Assurance Engineer

Newforma has a unique opportunity for a technical professional in the commercial building industry to apply their domain experience in the field of software development.  This position requires 2-5 years of professional experience in architecture, engineering or construction using or administrating CAD software systems.  Your charter is to become the internal expert user of Newforma software and to represent the voice of the customer within our quality assurance team.  In this position you will influence the design of our future products.  You will be responsible for testing software during the development phase, generating defect reports, verifying software fixes, evaluating stability of features, reviewing documentation, and replicating errors reported by our customers. 

 

This position requires a self-motivated individual with a proven track record of achieving goals and meeting milestones.   Previous experience in software development is not required.  However, prior exposure to pre-release software or software support newsgroup participation is desirable.
