Quality Engineer

Our client is seeking a Quality Engineer to join their manufacturing team in Owasso, Michigan.

RESPONSIBILITIES
The Quality Engineer's responsibilities are to address all quality concerns and to provide comprehensive and permanent resolutions to quality related items. Additional responsibilities will include: to lead and track the progress of each step in the Advance Product Quality Planning (APQP) process as they relate to new product and change to existing products.

QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Requires BS degree or equivalent with 4-6 years previous experience in related field.
2. Must be familiar with blueprint reading and have working knowledge of the PPAP process.
3. Experience coordinating and leading TS16949 quality system.
3. Experience communicating with tier one customers via customer specific software programs. i.e. Powerway, GM Supply Power, Ford Supplier Portal.
4. To assist in the successful PPAP submissions of samples to our customers.
