Prestigious Interior Design firm seeks a Director for their Real Estate Strategy and Solutions for their Global Strategy group. This individual will play a key role in the innovation, strategic development, management, and integration of information services?involved in all aspects of business development and management, operations, projects and services delivery across business lines and functions. As member of the management team, this Director will primarily develop innovative (technology-based) solutions  that will serve to enhance service delivery, reduce cycle times and help to position the organization to gain a competitive edge in the marketplace.  The Director who will primarily serve as the group's Information Services Director will be involved in developing, managing and maintain all operational policies; and will have responsibility for all aspects of operations and projects, including staff assignment, expense review and approval, project schedules, budget and projections, development of intellectual collateral, research and development regarding emerging technologies, integration of information services, etc. In addition, the Director will also have measurable client management responsibility; interface representation at business development presentations, as well as serve as senior liaison between clients and company on projects. This individual will assist in determining target clients and markets through research--having an in-depth understanding of the company?s operational strengths; will participate in the preparation of contracts for professional services.  The Director will supervise responsibilities of multiple projects simultaneously, working within budgets, schedules, and strategies. Responsible for monitoring team performance against contractual obligations; and work to ensure the highest level service and product quality exceeds clients expectations.

 

 

This position calls for a business minded Information Systems professional with a track record demonstrating ability to grow revenues and increase profitability.  The successful candidate must possess a thorough knowledge of industry procedures and processes, as well as internal quality assurance processes. This individual must be innovative, and have the ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of situations concurrently.  The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management, staff and clients. Requires a minimum of 10+ years industry experience (Architecture, Interior Design, Real Estate / Space Planning, or R.E. Consulting) in a strategic management role, having functioned in a similar technology solutions capacity, involving innovative use of current IS / technology tools. Bachelor degree in Management Information Systems (M.I.S) or related degree required; Master?s degree is preferred. Demonstrated literacy with Word processing, spreadsheet software, CAFM ( facilities management software ) necessary.  Requires understanding and familiarity with CAD concepts.  Position requires up to 25% travel.  The position allows flexibility and could be located in various locations, preferably Philadelphia, PA or Charlotte, NC or New York, NY - depends on preference of individual.

 

Compensation will include starting base salary to $120K+ , plus Bonus.
