Job Purpose:

Duties:
* Determines scope of projects by identifying construction or renovation requirements, including style and material preferences.
* Obtains initial approvals by developing concept; presenting sketches and models.
* Plans projects by designing structure, layout, and specifications; developing budget and timetables; obtaining approvals; making adjustments.
* Supervises construction by selecting and supervising contractors; monitoring construction results as compared to drawings and specifications; solving design/construction problems.
* Provides project information by collecting and summarizing data.
* Updates professional knowledge by maintaining licensure; participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
