Retail Project Manager, Architecture

Major Responsibilities: Member of the Global Design Construction Standards Team that supports brand growth by enabling increased project productivity, construction cost control, and brand store image integrity through standardization.
Primarily responsible for the development, validation, maintenance, and communication of brand construction document templates.
Acts as subject matter/technical expert in the development of design standards.
Serves as conduit and filter for construction standard information from internal business partners to the construction teams. Strategizes design rollouts so as to mitigate the impact of the changes on the project teams.
Drives results through coordination with Store Design, Engineering, Remodel and New Store Construction, Consulting Architects, Estimating; Procurement, Real Estate, Real Estate Law, Store Technologies, Store Telecommunications, POS, and Store Maintenance teams.
Independently develop action plans to define and deliver on appropriate schedules and deliverables.
Must have a thorough understanding of construction process, detailing, material/product durability, and lifecycle cost factors of retail design.
Should have clear vision of design intent and ability to articulate this to non-technical business partners.
Needs to have strong communication and presentation skills and confidence in communicating with all levels of management.
