SCADA Analyst

Equitable Utilities includes two integrated divisions: Equitable Gas, a regulated local distribution company providing natural has service to more than 270,000 residential, commercial and industrial customers in western Pennsylvania, northern West Virginia and eastern Kentucky; Equitrans, a regulated interstate pipeline company that specializes in the transmission, storage and gathering of natural gas.
* Assist with day-to-day operations of the SCADA system; monitoring all SCADA communications including but not limited to: Real-Time Circuits, Dial-Up Devices, Satellite Communications and Wireless Communications.
* Trouble-shoots communication outages by: device testing, verification of radio and network infrastructure and telecommunication paths.
* Reports and works with Field Technicians concerning all communication outages and repair work to ensure communication devices are working properly while maintaining system integrity.
* Builds SCADA system database configurations for remote telemetry and control device.
* Develops AutoCAD based graphical displays for use by Gas Control.
* Experience with Microsoft Windows, AutoCAD (or equivalent), Electrical Flow Measurement Equipment, SCADA systems including OASyS, Talon, ScanWin, WinCC and Flow Automation a plus.
* Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.
* All above to have 24/7 functionality.
