Senior Design Coordinator

Description

Triyar Hospitality, LLC, a vibrant hotel development company is currently seeking a Senior Design Coordinator with at least five years experience to assist in the design development and administration of its? high end hotel projects.  The successful candidate for this position must have direct experience coordinating the design development process between the developer, architect, and interior design and consulting firms.  This position further requires the ability to oversee design development and implementation from concept through construction.  Strong communication, organizational, multi-tasking skills required.  Hands on design and construction management experience required. 

 

Necessary SkillsDirect experience coordinating the design development process between the developer, architect, interior design and consulting firms.Ability to oversee design development and implementation from concept through construction.Review drawings, prepare submittals to hotel brands for approval (pre-development committee site plan review, etc.), preliminary design approval and construction documentation approval based on conformance with brand standards, design standards and previous approvals.Coordinate review / approvals, with participation from appropriate disciplines, of variances from brand standards requested by team members due to specific project circumstances.Track changes to projects in database.Coordinate distribution of change bulletins and related product development communication.Maintain clear communication with team members and advise/consult on project issues.Source materials, samples and FF& E.

 

Candidate Profile4 year undergraduate degree (preferably in Architecture, Interior Design or Construction Management) from an accredited college or university. A minimum of five years of experience in architecture and/or design firm for commercial or hospitality projects.Hands on design and construction management experience.Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite programs, including MS Outlook, MS Excel, MS Word.Have formal training or substantial experience in Auto CAD.Ability to hand sketch / draft designs.
