SideMark Corporate Furniture is a specialty office furnishings firm that has been designing and servicing state-of-the-art office spaces for 15 years. A design community leader and well respected in the industry, SideMark?s clients include Yahoo!, Network Appliance, Agilent, Broadvision, Canon, and VM Ware.
We?re looking to add a CAD Designer to our innovative team to provide not only drawings and specifications, but a creative design input and expertise to space layout and corporate furniture.
Responsibilities:
? Prepare drawings/furniture layouts and specifications for projects utilizing knowledge of AutoCAD, Design Express and furniture systems.
? Contribute to client and team meetings, provide space planning and design input, and support your project teams? success.
? Work collaboratively with your team and client; communicate progress, meet deadlines, follow appropriate processes, and prioritize your work load effectively.
Required skills and experience:
? Your proficient in AutoCAD release 14 and Design Express (or other related specification software a plus), plus you have a talent for design, obtained from at least five years of experience (preferably at the dealer level).
? Proficiency in ACAD2000i a plus.
? You are able to multi-task and manage multiple deadlines, while maintaining an eye for detail.
? You collaborate well with team members, have strong communications skills and enjoy a client-facing role.
