Store Design Manager, Creative Development

This position contributes to design development and evolution of the branded store environment as it pertains to architecture and fixtures for multiple brands (The Children's Place/Disney Stores), partnering heavily with Real Estate, Operations, Visual Merchandising, Construction and Leadership, insuring store concepts are best in class from a customer experience, brand expression, investment, total lifecycle cost and functional standpoint. 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

 

1. Canvas the design landscape and bring back the best of innovation and quality to the team.

2. Develop the design evolution of multiple brands architecture. 

3. Develop the design evolution of multiple brands fixturing.

4. Research materials for durability and value.

5. Develop standards and details templates.

6. Expert architectural and fixture resource for key business partners. 

 



QUALIFICATIONS

 

Three to five years of retail architecture and/or fixture experience for varied brands.

BA or MA architectural or design related degree.

Software including but not exclusive to CAD, Excel, Word, Photoshop, PageMaker .

Excellent written and verbal communication.

Excellent presentation skills in both content and manner.

Excellent listening skills.

Coordination of cross disciplinary business partners.

The ability to translate design concepts three dimensionally. 

This position requires approximately twenty five percent travel.
