You'll get the chance to work with bright, highly motivated people. We need a talented individual to fill the role of Store Planner for The Pantry, Inc.. In this position, you will be the one who visits stores to physically measure all walls and equipment; drafts information compiled from store visit in AutoCad; remodels floor plans; maintains project archive drawing files; identifies and verifies specifications; modifies drawings; coordinates remodel project requirements with architect and engineers through the design/permitting process.

Qualifications

Is a compelling and articulate speaker in a variety of settings. Easily adjusts the message to match the audience.

Thorough knowledge of drafting techniques and principles. Understands general design requirements.

Adept at using common drafting tools and instruments.

Takes an exhaustive approach to every task. Committed to comprehensive and in-depth analysis, planning, and implementation of every work effort.

Experience using AutoCAD.

Experience in Computer Aided Design and analysis.

Promotes team spirit and works collaboratively to achieve team goals.

Excellent multi-tasking skills. Prioritizes and performs a variety of concurrent tasks with minimal direction.

Exceptional work ethic. Uses time productively, maximizes efficiency, and meets challenging work goals.

Has superior organizational skills. Keeps files and work area organized. Maintains a comprehensive library of reference and historical data.

Manages time effectively. Uses work plans to prioritize competing and interdependent tasks and meet deadlines.

Expertise in designing and constructing products according to requirements/specifications.

Maintains painstaking attention to detail, completing multiple or repetitive tasks. Demonstrates a serious commitment to accuracy and quality while meeting goals or deadlines.

Thrives under pressure. Ability to effectively handle escalations and time critical issues. Remains productive, provides solutions, and meets goals in stressful situations.

Has the functional and technical knowledge and skills to do the job.

Associates Degree in Computer Aided Drafting from an accredited Community College or Technical School.
