Job Summary and Mission

This job contributes to Starbucks success by managing the process of creating high quality store designs and construction documents to support retail store construction. Manages a team responsible for producing construction documents using computer-aided design (CAD) software. Models and acts in accordance with Starbucks guiding principles.


Summary of Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
Manages the architectural design process for retail store development in coordination with cross-functional development team and external parties. Ensures compliance of store designs with national, regional, city and area building codes and landlord design criteria to secure permits and building approvals.Monitors design modifications and changes to ensure budget adherence.Monitors production of construction documents by team members and other parties to ensure accurate and timely construction drawings for store locations.Supervises, coaches and mentors design team members. Prioritizes and communicates project schedules and department objectives to team.
