Job Summary and Mission

This job contributes to Starbucks success by producing accurate construction documents, including architectural drawings and material specifications, for new construction and renovations to Starbucks retail stores. Models and acts in accordance with Starbucks guiding principles.


Summary of Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
Maintains regular and consistent attendance and punctuality.Participates as a design team member to solve design questions and issues and coordinate project planning.Reviews and analyzes site surveys and accompanying store development budgets. Develops preliminary diagrams and drawings. Tracks project schedule timelines and keeps store development team advised regarding current project status. Produces architectural and engineering drawings, two-dimensional elevations and details, using two computer-aided design (CAD) software systems. Coordinates mechanical, electrical and lighting plans prepared by outside consultants. Produces sets of drawings on a plotter or printer, and notes corrections needed.

Summary of Experience

CAD drafting using Microstation or AutoCAD software (3 years)Production of construction documents (3 years)
