Job Summary and Mission
This job contributes to Starbucks success by managing the process of creating high quality site plans, store elevations, and construction documents to support retail store construction. Coordinates the entitlement process including site plans, Architecture and Engineering, Geo Tech, surveys, along with securing all municipal approvals. Models and acts in accordance with Starbucks guiding principles.

Summary of Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
Directs the civil engineering /architectural design process in coordination with cross-functional development team and external parties. Ensures compliance with national, regional, and localarea building codes and ordinances. Represents company in public meetings.Monitors production of construction documents by team members and other parties to ensure accurate and timely construction drawings for store locations. Performs preliminary site sketches and works with consultants, landlords and others to obtain maximum parking, flow and visability for the retail store. Conducts feasibility studies on FSB (?) and Drive-Thru projects, prospective properties and schematic development.Mentors and cross trains other project managers in feasibility studies and in expediting permits. Interviews and hires outside consultants in cooperation with Real Estate and Construction. Oversees consultant relationships and designates the scope of work, contract timelines and region scheduling.
