2D / 3D Artist

 

MVP Online, a Saint Louis developer of online sports games, is currently searching for a talented 2d/3d artist. The artist will be responsible for a wide variety of art assets including concept art, textures, character modeling and animation, level design and environment art, user interface and 2D/3D effects. Website design skills are a plus. We are located in the St. Louis. MO area.

Artist ? MVP is seeking an experienced Artist. The ideal candidate has 5 + years of experience in creating 2D/3D assets for computer games.




Requirements




? BFA OR equivalent degree OR extensive game industry experience with a portfolio that demonstrates qualifications.




? Expertise in 3D graphics, particle/dynamic systems, and shaders.




? Strong knowledge of one or more major 3D packages, 3D Studio Max 7.0 preferred.




? Photoshop 7.0 or higher.




? Passionate about making games.




? Demonstrated ability to build professional quality 3d game assets.




? Able to meet schedules and artistic guidelines on time in a professional environment.




? Detail oriented with the ability to communicate clearly.




? Self motivated.. Keen ability to identify and prioritize project tasks and deadlines.




? Excels in producing top results within a team environment.




Preferred Additional Experience:




? Macromedia FLASH.




? 2D Web Design.




? Character animation experience in Character Studio.
