Indiana University Vice President of University Relations seeks an Art Director for the Office of Creative Services located in Bloomington, Indiana, 50 miles south of Indianapolis.Create compelling, effective visual design concepts for printed promotional, informational, and recruitment publications about the universityWork with a team of editors, writers, art directors, and other creative professionals to create materials that support the marketing efforts of various units and offices within Indiana UniversityPossess strong client presentation and communication skills, capacity for working on multiple projects, and the ability to work effectively as part of a creative team from concept to delivery

Requirements

 

Bachelor?s degree in fine arts, visual communications, graphic design, or related field.

 

Three to five years of experience in print design, and working in higher education or at an agency with a record of marketing/public relations work for clients with multiple audiences and many products.

 

Must be an expert with design software, including InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, and Illustrator, and be comfortable working in a Macintosh environment. Knowledge of Indiana University is a plus.
