Essential Functions (Responsibilities):
In this position your responsibilities will be:
Provide general administrative duties in working with the Head of Marketing (including assisting with filmmaker memos, marketing campaign updates, coordinating expenses reimbursement and travel, trafficking creative materials and information)
Liaise between Head of Marketing and department, senior staff, filmmakers, and colleagues
Provide creative input and help implement production of marketing campaigns, including newspaper, print, a/v, national and regional promotional components, etc.
Communicate to advertising agency/vendors in implementing creative notes on newspaper, print, trade ad and a/v campaigns
Assist VP, Print Creative and Head of Marketing in putting together any necessary creative materials for advertising campaigns
Contribute to concept sheets for Focus titles and creative discussions regarding positioning statements, marketing plans, distribution plans, etc.
Coordinate updates on marketing efforts and the traffic of campaign materials to filmmakers
Work with field publicity and NY office to distribute reviews on opening day
Help to create strategic trade ad schedule
Provide assistance in setting up screenings in Los Angeles for Focus staff, promotional partners, soundtrack partners, etc., while also arranging billing and processing of payment
Help publicity with staffing at screenings including Academy, premieres, special events, promotional and on-lot screenings
Work LA press junkets and press days
Qualifications/Requirements:
Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of experience working in an administrative capacity
Proven proficiency working with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint in an office environment
Minimum 1 year previous experience in entertainment or marketing in an employee or intern capacity
Eligibility requirements:

4 year degree preferred
Previous experience working in Entertainment working on a high volume desk preferred
