Assistant Slot Shift Manager

SUMMARY: Creative initiator and meticulous executioner for driving continuous operational efficiencies, advances in slot CSA scores and improved employee morale.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include but is not limited to the following:

Strong project and time management skills. Ability to devise and execute projects to address departmental shortfalls and garner project support across all employee levels and shifts. Provides solutions to accomplish more with less within set timeframes.

Department champion for change; strong leadership skills to build consensus for change and operational consistency.

Helps department transform from a reactive transaction to a proactive relationship driven operational structure. Leads this effort by constantly displaying model behavior and seizing opportunities to build relationships with customers directly; holds all staff accountable for the same.

Proactively bridges barriers and builds teamwork within the department, other departments on property, as well as ?sister? properties.

Develops and mentors staff, setting clear levels of expectations while managing non-performers out of the organization. Constantly manages this development process to raise the quality of staffing levels, floor assignments, shift and break lists to reflect anticipated and current demand.

Handles customer disputes fairly and efficiently.

Completes disciplinary and performance reviews accurately and on time.

Intimate knowledge of the Mississippi Gaming Commission's regulations and applications, as well as Horseshoe internal controls, policies, and procedures. Monitors compliance for all regulations and rules.

Supports and maintains Horseshoe courtesy guidelines with guests as well as employees. Ensures that the highest level of guest and employee service is maintained throughout the department.
