Associate Producer, Mathematics

Job Description: McDougal Littell, an educational publisher of secondary materials and division of Houghton Mifflin, is currently experiencing significant growth. Our Technology Development team is currently seeking an Associate Producer to work on the development of our multimedia products in mathematics.  To be considered please apply today. The Technology Development group is looking for an editorial/project administrator to assist in the creation of online mathematics textbooks and technology ancillaries for middle school and high school. Some responsibilities will include: working with the web group to manage the mathematics web pages; working with the Producer to create prototypes for new products, testing products on a multitude of machines and configurations; work with designers, editors, and vendors to develop a variety of products, such as on-line, interactive textbooks, test-generators, and electronic tutors; and other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:
We are seeking someone with excellent communication skills, administrative and organizational abilities; research skills; and a background in education or mathematics. Proficiency in standard computer applications is required (Mac & PC), as well as a proven history of tracking multiple projects. Prior CD-ROM development, HTML, and related web experience, editing, interest/experience in education and project management is preferred.
