Audit Manager

One of the world's largest global media and communications company operating in the following business segments: music, publishing, TV and film, telecoms, and entertainment is looking for an audit manager. Annual revenues are over $30 billion.

 
Responsible for evaluating and reporting on the effectiveness of internal controls, corporate policies and procedures by performing independent financial, operational audits.
Demonstrates understanding of business, accounting processes and financial and operational systems.
Demonstrates effective communication skills through interaction with auditee, internal audit staff and management.
Leads and supervises staff in operational field work, including drafting final audit report.
Stay abreast with changes in company policies, procedures, current accounting and audit issues.
Ascertains the extent of which company assets are accounted for and safeguarded from losses of all kinds
Determines the adequacy and reliability of management data developed within the organization
Recommends operation improvements.
Participates in integrated financial and IT audits.
Ascertains the extent of compliance with established policies, plans, and procedures, and Sarbanes Oxley requirements.
Participates with BU Management SOX compliance teams to develop criteria related to key control identification, testing methodology, and Risk navigator software.
