Casino Marketing Coordinator

Assists the Executive Casino Hosts to maintain current business and helps coordinate new host programs (annually or as required by changes in the business environment). Responsible for all aspects of Player Contact System (PCS) support for Harrah?s New Orleans end users.

Duties include but are not limited to: submitting monthly contact statistic reports to executive staff and hosts. Attend monthly host meetings to present team contact results, field questions, and provide updates. Provide individual training as needed. Troubleshoot errors and determine appropriate issues to escalate to corporate. Maintain and respond to emails sent to a central support box in a timely manner. Notify teams when PCS is unavailable or of scheduled outages. Work with Direct Marketing to update correspondence on a quarterly basis. Respond to and consistently meet the needs of internal clients. Support and cultivate new ideas and methods to deliver business solutions. Train new users on the system. Identify ways to increase efficiencies or improve product or service. Cross-training in various aspects of VIP Direct Marketing will be required.

Partners with Corporate and Division leadership to ensure that standards are adhered. Works directly with the Director of Casino Marketing to measure program profitability, ensure department efficiencies and add integrity and accountability to Casino Marketing initiatives. Works with Planning and Analysis to produce comp exceptions for review.

Coordinates the administrative functions for the Casino Marketing Department, in conjunction with the Director of Casino Marketing. Coordinates all Executive Host reservations and travel arrangements, maintains reservation files and VIP files. Creates the Executive/Casino Host schedules and monitors PTO/attendance records. Reviews department financials. Functions as cross-property coordinator, specifically, coordinating the flow of special event, visitation, and criteria information involved in cross-property visitation.




Must maintain confidentiality of sensitive material. Must be able to meet the department standards, attendance guidelines and adhere to departmental and company policies.


Must be able to move in and around quickly on the casino floor. Must be able to respond calmly and handle many customer demands in a fast paced environment. Must possess the ability to calmly handle difficult situations and be able to work any day, any shift, and long hours as required. Must be able to handle more than one function at a time by being well organized and paying attention to details. Must be able to work the following equipment: computer, telephones, copier, 10 key adding machine, fax, typewriter. Must have manual dexterity to operate the computer and necessary office equipment. Minimum two years experience in Casino Marketing, Gaming, or Casino Services experience required.

Must be at least 21 years of age and be able to obtain a LA gaming license. Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English. Must present a well-groomed appearance. Must be able to initiate and maintain Executive Host mailings and promotions and have the ability to analyze customer tracking. Must be computer literate with software systems to include: Microsoft Office applications, CMS, WINet and AS400. Knowledge of the Total Gold and hotel reservations systems a plus. Excellent guest service, interpersonal, communication, team building, and problem solving skills are required.
