Communications Partner

USAA is currently seeking a talented Communications Partner for our San Antonio, TX location.

As a Communications Partner for USAA, you will be responsible for providing strategic and operational communication advice and counsel, support and execution to effectively communicate USAA enterprise, business/staff agency goals and issues to targeted internal and external audiences. You will utilize extensive industry knowledge to link business specific issues to enterprise-wide strategies or programs. You will lead teams in a matrixed environment and provide guidance to other corporate communications staff.

Qualified candidates will possess:

Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism or a related field.

5 years of experience in corporate communications, public relations, journalism or a related field.

Excellent verbal and presentation skills and superior writing skills.

Proven ability to deliver creative, innovative tactical solutions.

Experience interacting with senior management and a demonstrated ability to work in a team environment.

Experience with Microsoft Office software tools.

Preferred experience includes:
Master's degree in journalism, communications or a related field.
