Content Assistant

MLB Advanced Media, L.P. (MLBAM) is the interactive media and Internet Company of Major League Baseball. MLBAM manages the official league site, www.MLB.com, and each of the 30 individual Club sites to create the most comprehensive Major League Baseball resource on the Internet. We are currently seeking a content assistant.

MLB.com is looking for a Content Assistant to work on a variety of partner projects. You will be a key liaison for a number of relationships, representing the Multimedia department in both internal and external meetings. Responsibilities include scheduling, capturing, producing and managing multimedia assets; digitizing offline content and some light editing. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, multi-tasking and independent follow-up is absolutely essential. Nights and weeknds are a must.

Required Skills:
-Proficiency on both MAC and PC platforms
-Some knowledge of Final Cut Pro, Photoshop, FTP clients
-Work well under pressure and tight deadlines
-Strong written and verbal communication skills
-Knowledge of baseball and sports a plus
