Copywriter

The Content Writer will report to the Director of Online Product Development and be responsible for management of all copy on the company website,,merchant sites and email communications and associated products to create and support new front-end features and functionality. This Individual is able to work well with other teams including; Marketing, Product Management, Legal and other departments to maintain editorial integrity throughout the company and all related products. Must be resourceful, a creative thinker, confident and able to express ideas in an articulate, well thought out manner. The Content Writer will also be responsible for developing and maintaining a consistent online voice strategy in support of existing and developing product lines and brands using user-centered practices. The candidate must be able to identify distinct audiences and create compelling content to drive each interaction with those audiences. Ability to multi-task and prioritize is also a must. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Responsibilities: 1. Proofing miscellaneous promotional products/materials for multiple departments - Misc. email communications, vanity pages and other promotional materials 2. Browsing and monitoring all sites and all related products to ensure these pages follow the editorial style and tone of the Company 3. Enforce Style Guides to help maintain/support branding of all products 4. Strategic marketing writing 5. Develop relationships w/ the regional promotional managers 6. Some data entry. Qualifications :
Required Skills: 1.Two plus years experience with writing, proofreading and editing for a large ecommerce website and supporting organization 2.Strong strategic thinking, verbal and communication skills 3.Strong attention to detail a must 4.Proficient at Microsoft programs including Word, Excel Experience in successful advertising or marketing efforts
