The company produces all genres of films through multiple studios and makes television shows for a major network. The home entertainment arm releases several hundred films and television titles each year to the worldwide home video market. The company also licenses its content to third parties for use on pay television and pay per-view cable and satellite systems. The company grossed over $1 billion for the year. TAX MANAGER (Research and Planning Leader)

Assume focused responsibilities for domestic and international tax research and planning for Federal, State and International issues related to tax-based film financing. Identify, research and resolve tax issues. Interface with a diverse group of individuals, companies and governmental officials; negotiate issues to a level of mutual benefit. Demonstrate a natural curiosity and a desire to grow and expand in knowledge; apply problem-solving skills and an astute business sense to achieve business objectives. A CPA with 6+ years of experience may have qualified a professional to step into this critical corporate tax role.  

TAX MANAGER (Compliance Team Leader)

 

Oversee a team of tax professionals and perform a full range of tax compliance functions for this major corporation: address and review the complex group of federal and multi-state income/franchise corporate and partnership tax; oversee property, sales, business license, and other miscellaneous tax returns as well as quarterly forecasts/estimates and year-end provision/extensions; respond to Federal and State taxing jurisdictions? inquiries; identify, research, and resolve emerging tax issues as they arise; interface with corporate Tax Audit and Tax Planning teams. Apply your 3 ? 5 years of experience with partnerships, LLC?s, consolidated returns and multi-state returns.
