Designer, Apparel Graphics (Girls, Tweens, Juniors, Women's)

Responsibilities:
Create and generate innovative graphic ideas for apparel for the Girls, Tweens, Juniors and Women's businesses. Research new trends and graphic direction appropriate to each consumer segment. Take initial creative direction and own a project through to completion. Work with licensees or direct manufacturers to produce fresh, well-designed, market-right, on-brand graphics, icons and patterns for apparel lines and provide feedback within the apparel approval process. Produce creative materials for these various product lines and work with licensees and cross lines of business to implement materials. Participate in line reviews and licensee meetings with category partners. Present ideas to internal creative team, category team and licensees.

Requirements:


Strong graphic design skills preferably with experience in apparel.

Must be able to spot emerging design trends and have flexible design styles.

Illustration skills a plus.

Work well in team environment, demonstrate breakthrough thinking and continuously demonstrate an innovative approach to product development.

Strong communication and presentation skills.

Relationship builder who can build and leverage relationships to advance business goals.

Must have familiarity with, and experience in Juniors, Tweens and Girls graphic design.

Must have a strong sense of color, layout, composition and building product styleguides.

Have a passion for Disney and its Franchises, but be able to think out of the box

Licensing background a plus.

A minimum of 2-3 years design experience.
