 Digital Marketing Manager

 

This position is responsible for the full implementation of the marketing strategies & programs that will drive customer acquisition, retention, and sales of online content.

 

Responsibilities:

 

? Work as a team to successfully execute multiple direct marketing campaigns in a multi-title, consumer and B to B magazine environment.

? Handle the creation, implementation, and analysis of marketing campaigns conducted through a variety of channels, including email marketing, search engine marketing, telemarketing, and direct mail.

? Optimize web site navigation, develop and execute Internet-based guerilla marketing

? Maximize digital channels to drive subscriptions to a breadth of magazine titles. Includes email, search engine marketing, website navigation, mobile devices, and RSS feeds. Previous experience in selling content online preferred

? Identify ongoing opportunities for campaign enhancement and overall performance.

? Create and distribute a variety of reports on a daily basis to track program results.

? Select and output targeted lists for marketing programs.

? Work with vendors to manage order processing and ensure accuracy of output.

? Create timelines to ensure on-time implementation of all promotion efforts.

?  Traffic creative to ensure all appropriate approval levels.

?  Manage expenses on a day to day basis to ensure they are within approved budget

 

Skills

? Online campaign management experience

? Can propose, analyze and execute list plans.

? Be able to develop and test creative efforts and understand a circ P&L.

? Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

? Strong ability to multi-task, think strategically and problem solve.

? Strong quantitative and analytical skills

? Highly organized, self motivated, energetic multi-tasker.

? Direct marketing, test-and-measure mindset

? Passion for the Internet space and new approaches to consumer marketing

? Web design experience a plus, particularly with display ads and landing pages



 

Experience



 

? Direct marketing background, preferably in online subscription circulation.

? Experience in email, search engine, and/or database marketing.

? 2+ years experience in marketing paid online content

? Bachelor?s Degree
