Director, Data and Analytics

Requirements:

Document current reporting options and future requirements

Develop and define requirements for new tools and processes to support the analysis of our

business

Work across functions to define and coordinate the introduction of new analytical tools to

drive revenue or increase efficiency

Review and prioritize analytical requests of department to ensure all projects support

revenue growth or efficiency gains

Interface with clients to define their requirements and ensure their satisfaction.

Effectively manage analyst team to support key departments

Share information and learnings in both an informal self-initiated manner as well as through

formal presentations

Skills and Experience:

Ability to handle challenges and provide quality solutions on time

Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-tech, rapidly growing and exciting environment

Ability to possess strong leadership, communication (both verbal and written), and customer

service skills, and exchange information with others clearly and concisely

Ability to balance technical and business issues as well as communicate appropriately with

both technical and business experts.

Successful team management

Ability to articulate and substantiate strong point of view

Strong knowledge of analytical methodologies for optimizing and evaluating marketing

campaigns (i.e., segmentation, predictive response models, etc).

Experience gathering requirements from business users and translating to technical needs

documentation

Experience translating technical documentation to end user business guidelines

Mastery of Microsoft Excel (all advance functions such, nested formulas, conditional

formatting, vertical lookups, multi-variable graphing etc.)

Knowledge of Microsoft Reporting Services, Salesforce.com reporting, SQL, OAS, DFP,

Media Visor, Atlas, etc a plus

SQL and Oracle knowledge a plus

Internet advertising experience a plus
