Essential Functions (Responsibilities):
This high-visibility assignment will standardize the service processes between IT and broadcast engineering across NBC Universal's Television Group. Strategic responsibility for defining and implementing broadcast maintenance and systems response processes for on-air efforts across the organization, this leader will be a change agent combining the best processes from each of these organizations as their technologies get ever closer. Impacting the work of almost two hundred front-line responders, goals include metric-driven reporting, standardized call procedures and implementing automated monitoring in all NBCU production locations. Some travel will be required.

Qualifications/Requirements:
Minimum 5 years experience managing maintenance & response of complex broadcast or IT systems.
Six sigma experience, Greenbelt or higher required

Desired:
Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, candidate will be skilled at communicating change in a diplomatic manner.
Strong knowledge of broadcast technologies and desktop support.
Appreciation for the time-critical nature of on-air support.
Experience in implementing SNMP monitoring helpful.
CAP Training
MCSE certification a plus
BSEE or equivalent work experience
