Essential Functions (Responsibilities):
NBC Universal's On-Air Systems team is seeking a Director, Program Management Office to manage a challenging portfolio of on-air projects, including the NBC Network and NBCU Cable networks origination facilities, the satellite distribution systems and Television stations.

This individual will be responsible for establishing project management best practices, ensuring projects track to plan, resource allocation and managing the budget across the entire On-air Systems group.

Reporting to the VP of On-air Systems, this is a key leadership position within the On-Air technology group with significant opportunity to further define the On-Air technology organization. This individual will interface extensively with the operations, engineering and ad sales teams.

This position is expected to effectively manage a fast-moving work environment with multiple priorities, outlining and managing individual and teamwork plans.

Additional Responsibilities Include:
* Define the on-air technology PMO framework and processes
* Navigate projects through NBC's NTI processes
* Manage project scope and delivery dates
* Develop and manage project budgets
* Create and maintain detailed project plans
* Partner with sourcing for equipment and resource procurement
* Communicate project status to senior leadership

Qualifications/Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree
* Min 6 years experience with current information technologies in an IT related field.

* Prior experience with creating and enforcing process methodologies a plus
