Pay Rate: $13.00 per hour
The Eastridge Group, in conjunction with an exciting, fast growing gaming company, is seeking Game Testers! This company is a San Francisco based developer, publisher, and operator of networked multiplayer and massively multiplayer games for the PC and next-generation videogame consoles.
The QA Tester works closely with the QA Lead and an on-site development team to deliver high quality software games. The tester will be responsible for daily game and regression testing, as well as test case documentation. This role will be primarily responsible with identifying and logging new defects.
Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesIdentify and isolate issues with pre-release software Report and track defects Verify defect fixes Work with other testers, engineers, and manager Prepare/execute test cases Data Entry QualificationsPrevious game testing experience REQUIRED Passion for online games a plus Strong attention to detail and strong work ethic Good written skills for reporting bugs and identifying game typos Ability to learn quickly and self motivated Experience with MS Word and Excel BonusesFamiliarity with SQL and generating database driven reports Able to write test automation scripts (Python)
Job Status: Temporary, Full-time, 9-6pm
