FLASH Developer

As a Flash Developer, you will develop the architecture, product prototyping, development, testing, and implementation of an Action Script framework for various projects. Subsequent work will include the development of content based on this framework. This is primarily a programming and development position but will work in tandem with a Flash designer.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Implement a Flash component framework for interactive content delivery, which will ensure performance, functionality, and flexibility

Develop and maintain code developed in Flash/Action Script

Create reusable flash components to rapidly provide required functionality

Implement functional prototypes

Work with team lead to meet all scheduled deliverables

Troubleshoot and ensure timely and effective resolution of any issues with the project

Develop all appropriate test clients to test and benchmark performance of individual components and tools

Perform integration of new code with existing code and tools

Participate in issue resolution during User Acceptance Testing

Participate in design reviews and project status meetings as required and provide project status update with respect to work on hand

Perform maintenance and operations on existing and future flash applications

QUALIFICATIONS:


Bachelor's degree in CS, CE, EE or MIS preferred

4+ years of Action Script/Macromedia Flash and web development

4+ years programming interactive content

2+ years experience with consuming XML within Flash

3+ years experience designing complex applications in Flash

3+ years experience with .jsp, .php, .cfm, or .asp

4+ years strong experience with JavaScript, XHTML, CSS

SPECIFIC SKILLS REQUIRED:


Experience with design patterns/object oriented programming techniques

Desire to solve challenging technical problems and provide innovative solutions

Exposure to web services

Macromedia Flex experience

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

Organized, proactive with excellent attention to detail
