Flash Animator

ELLIS/Pearson Digital Learning, a provider of research-based English language software for ESL, EFL, ELL needs is seeking a Flash Animator for our South Jordan, UT office to conceptualize and create animations for English teaching purposes.

Areas of Responsibility include:

- development of custom vector-based illustrations/animations, characters, graphics, and icons for software.
- Take illustrations/animations from concept to completion in ways that engage, attract, and communicate accurately.
- Provide timely, quality assurance on creative deliverables
- Utilize design tools and action scripting to create new and innovative interactive design.

Experience and Skills Required:

- Experienced with Macromedia Flash and understanding of Adobe Creative Suite 2.
- Highly organized with excellent attention to detail.
- Understanding of Illustration and vector art.
- Understanding and experience with action scripting
- Ability to collaborate with other designers and fill various design needs to ensure final completion of projects by given deadlines.
- Highly creative and efficient with time given.
- Experience with Maya 3D software a plus.
- Any other multimedia skills are a plus.
- Strong visual style and thorough understanding of how typography, layout, color, images and interactivity impact design is also necessary.
- Candidate should have experience working on multiple projects in a fast-paced team environment.
