Foreign Levies Coordinator

POSITION PURPOSE:

 

To properly research, allocate and process all foreign tax levy receipts for payment to performers.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

 Assist in the completion of a foreign levies tracking and distribution system; identify obstacles, be they mechanical, conceptual or contractual and develop strategies for resolution.Utilize Internet, subscription and internal sources to properly identify titles and casts for payment allocations; locate performers for payment distribution.Process payments for distribution to performers.Interface with representatives of foreign collection societies and SAG Accounting department; trouble-shooting as necessary.Assemble and enter foreign levies collection society reports to database; integrate database with research collected.Extensive research to identify and properly allocate collected foreign tax levies to SAG-covered product.Edit and update missing database information.Process payments and maintain performer ?accounts?.Performs other duties as assigned



REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

?  Able to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing

?  Able to accurately type 40 WPM

?  Able to use PC applications

?  Detail oriented

?  Able to organize and coordinate multiple tasks under daily deadlines

?  Able to work under pressure

?  Able to prioritize tasks

?  Capable of taking direction from more than one supervisor

?  Must be able to work in a very stressful environment where constructive feedback from others is encouraged

?  Must maintain regular and acceptable attendance at such level as is determined at SAG?s sole discretion

?  Must be available and willing to work such overtime per day or per week, including weekends and holidays, as SAG determines is necessary to meet its business needs

?  Must be available and willing to travel to such locations and with such frequency as the SAG determines is necessary or desirable to meet its business needs



MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

 

Education and/or Experience:

Bachelors Degree in business administration or related discipline preferred
