Flexsteel has an opening in it?s design department for a talented and

energetic upholstered furniture designer. This position is a unique

opportunity to work with a team dedicated to creating, marketing,

and selling one of the most respected lines in the furniture industry.

Duties:
-Work with designers, marketing, and sales to develop a variety of

  new designs.
-Sketch concepts to present marketing and sales team.
-Use graphics software to add text and detail to sketches.
-Create full scale details of new designs.
-Work with product development and engineering in the creation of

  prototypes.
-Communicate and coordinate with outside designers, suppliers, and

  manufacturers.
-Research the market and follow trends in furniture and other related

industries.
