 GAME MASTERS40 POST TO BE FILLED

 

Alchemic Dream is currently looking for Game Masters (GMs) in order to organize live events in online games, play the role of non-player characters and handle public relations in persistent worlds. Applicants must have good English skills. A passion for massively multiplayer online games, as well as strong writing skills and computer support skills, are required. A good knowledge of the German language is a strong asset. Previous experience as a Game Master is a plus. Schedule flexibility is also a plus.

 

Work is done from home.


Goals:

In-game support:

You will answer player questions and react to the incidents that occur throughout the day, using emails and the tools available in game.

Community management:
- React on community issues related to harassment, abuse, racism.

- Help new players understanding the game mechanics.

- Moderate discussion boards, provide answers, and stay in touch with the community at all times.

- Get involved in events setup and staging.

- Send a daily report to your team coordinator.

 


Required skills:

Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.

Determination and involvement in one?s work.

Excellent knowledge of the English language (text translations).

Independency, schedule organization skills.

A passion for MMOGs, for role playing games, and for online gaming communities.

A high speed Internet connection, and a good computer (that can run the most recent MMOGs).
 

Pluses:

High school diploma

Professional experience in the industry of MMOGs.

Knowledge of community management tools.

Living in Canada, or intending to.

Flexible schedule.
