Game QA Specialist - Multiplayer Online Gaming
Looking for an Experienced Game QA Specialist!
The Eastridge Group, in conjunction with K2 Network, Inc., is seeking experienced Quality Assurance Specialists!
K2 Network is known for their exciting Massively Multiplayer Online Games, including Knight Online, FX Golf, Global MU Online and their upcoming FPS title, War Rock!
Summary: Quality Assurance
Hours : Monday-Friday, 10am-7pm, must be flexible
Location: Irvine, CA
Primary Responsibilities:Test various online products, including prerelease games Create detailed bug reports as well as learn/follow carrier standards Verify all aspects of a game and make sure it is up to K2?s high quality standards Ensure accurate completion of existing test cases Assuring new patches and updates are functional Communicate effectively with internal production and external development teams
Requirements:
? Basic-to-intermediate PC knowledge, as well as being familiar with Microsoft programs including Word, Excel and Outlook
? Strong attention to detail, work ethic, and problem solving abilities
? Aptitude to learn quickly and ability to remain focused in a team-oriented environment
? Effective communication skills (both verbal and written)
? Reliable transportation to K2?s Irvine, CA offices
? Must have passion for video games!
? Availability to work long and odd hours
? Prior game industry experience, particularly in QA, is necessary to apply!!
