Responsibilities
Kirkland, WA game studio seeks: Contract Graphic Designer/Artist We?re looking for someone who is cutting edge in print and web design, somebody with speed and agility who can take on a wide gamut of tasks which includes packaging and t-shirt designs, flyers, advertising, assembling color guides for action figures, creating recyclable art assets using a combination of popular graphics applications and in-house proprietary tools and then keep track of all of it! Half the time, we will even need this artist to _play_ the games to help us produce awesome screenshots and other art assets! Sound like fun? You bet it is. We?re in a bit of a ?lull? right now with only half a million things to do instead of a bazillion. People seem to be champing at the bit for anything regarding version 3 of our game. In the meantime, the licensing gigs for version 2 and maintaining momentum on existing projects are keeping us real busy. So we can really use your help if you?ve got the right stuff!!

Qualifications
Requirements ? Must be team oriented with excellent communications skills ? Must be organized and self-motivated ? Solid graphic design skills ? Expertise in Adobe Photoshop ? Knowledgeable in Adobe Illustrator ? Experience working in 3DS Max ? Skillz in web graphics creation ? Innate capacity to take art direction well ? Ability to tackle both challenging and mundane tasks ? Artistic finesse to adapt, maintain and uphold existing visual style ? Pluses ? Print publishing background ? Passion for games ? Have technical aptitude ? Game entertainment industry experience ? Website development experience ? Working knowledge of Adobe InDesign ?
