Graphic Designer and Multi-Media Artist

Job Description

The leading provider of knowledge transfer solutions for the process manufacturing industries is looking for an experienced Creative Media Artist to create learning assets for use within our on-line learning programs.

 

This professional will be responsible for working with the Content Development team to implement instructionally designed story-boards.  The Creative Media Artist will develop challenging and high-profile flash-based elearning applications, while maintaining the highest coding standards and practices.  This person will also collaborate with instructional designers to determine the most appropriate and robust implementation of Flash within our learning programs.  The result will be visually appealing flash-based learning tools designed to engage our learners.

 Skills Requirements / Critical Competencies

The successful candidate will have at least 2 years in a digital media development role with an outstanding record of artistic accomplishment.

 

The successful candidate must be an excellent graphic designer and must be able to produce high-quality work, to specifications, in a timely manner.  Graphic design experience should be well-rounded.  While most work will be done using Flash, you will be expected to assist with print materials on occasion.

 

You must demonstrate expert proficiency with the following creative tools:

 

4  Flash and the Studio 8 Suite

4  Creative Suite

4  Production Studio

4  Captivate

 Education Requirements

Bachelor?s Degree in graphic design or related field required.
