Interactive Designer / Developer

Join a highly creative multimedia design firm in Southwest Houston. We are looking for an experienced interactive designer/developer with proven design and technical skills. Applicant should have 2+ years of experience producing Web, Flash, and CD-based projects. To succeed in this fast-paced and multi-tasking environment, you must be proficient in relevant production aspects (XHTML, CSS, ActionScript).


You'll work within a small but over-achieving team that values your strong communication skills and critical eye for nothing less than professional excellence. Collaborative work style is essential and expected.

Candidates Must:
Provide an up-to-date portfolio reflecting work capabilities, preferably for high-profile clients Show experience and thorough understanding of graphic design and usability standards for interactive media Demonstrate the ability to take direction AND work independently Be able to handle multiple assignments on a daily basis
Required:
Degree in Design or specialized Multimedia program Proficiency in multimedia and graphic production applications including Macromedia Flash MX Professional, Director MX, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator/FreeHand Fluency with HTML, CSS, dynamic scripting
Strongly Desired:
Online Learning / CBT development experience Streaming video deployment experience E-commerce application development and integration Familiarity with PHP, ASP/.Net, ColdFusion In-depth knowledge of Search Engine Optimization techniques Experience with Windows/Unix Server administration
