Job Title:  Junior Editor  

Department: Post Production

Reports To:  Manager, Post Production Facility  

 

 

SUMMARY

Incumbent will serve as Junior Editor in state-of-the-art non linear Editing Suites for the Lifetime?s Post Production department.  

Incumbent will act as technical and creative collaborator with Post Production clients on a variety of projects.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to the following:

 Editor in Advertising & Promotion Tagging and Credit Squeeze sessions.

 Editor in Post Production Operations Reformat and Credit Squeeze sessions.

 Editor in other various sessions for Post Production clients as needed.

 NLE Digitizing.

 Various Post Production Technician duties as assigned by Manager or Scheduling.

 

 

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

BA or BS in Broadcasting or related field, or 3-4 years hands- on Avid Editing experience in a broadcast environment.
