Purpose
To collaborate with Director, Media Packaging to identify, prospect and cultivate new business opportunities for media packaging business line within Rights Services.
Responsibilities
Devise a comprehensive business plan to support the goals of the media packaging group.
Analyze the corporate marketplace, identify, negotiate and implement key business relationships with potential clients across multiple business sectors.
Identify, prospect, and present media packaging capabilities to potential clients.
Manage cross-functional requirements and interests during contract negotiations.
Work with internal Marketing and Sales team to ensure successful integration and monetization of new partnerships.
Develop and maintain, sales and presentation materials, in coordination with the Director, Media Packaging for internal use by sales teams and external outreach to new and existing clients.
Contacts:
This position is a key direct report and has a high level of daily contact with the Director, Media Packaging. The position requires daily interface with all levels of Corbis & Corbis Motion employees and managers globally. The position requires effective supervision of a research team based in Los Angeles.
Qualifications Required:
BA or BS in business or marketing or equivalent combination of education and experience. MBA desirable;
3+ years in a sales positions, preferably with some focus on corporate services sales and/or media licensing.
Demonstrated experience negotiating business terms and contracts, with good negotiation skills, and ability to manage complex relationships at the middle and upper management levels;
Demonstrated strategic business decision-making experience, with the ability to creatively structure deals.
Ability to work independently, multi-task, and prioritize work in a fast paced environment.
Process oriented with strong problem solving skills;
Strong team player, oral and written communications, decision-making, detail oriented, and strong interpersonal skills required.
