Disney Online's Premium Product team is committed to leading the market in creating, marketing and operating industry-defining, entertaining, interactive and high quality premium online experiences for kids and families. These currently include Disney's Toontown Online, Disney's Blast, Playhouse Disney Preschool Time Online, Pirates of the Caribbean Online, Disney Game Downloads and Disney Connection.

We are looking for an experienced, creative, and motivated Community Manager to manage all community related activities for Disney's Toontown Online.

The Community Manager will be responsible for building, supporting and representing the Toontown community of subscribers and fans to help grow and retain the online audience. The role will be instrumental in:

Helping develop and execute all community related programs and community initiatives

Managing online and offline events and promotions, including: contests, incentives, prizing and premiums

Assisting with product development and product life cycle management

Monitoring fan sites and interacting with the community to serve as the voice of the community to marketing and product development

Writing copy for game-play guides, news articles, newsletters, promotions and polls

Overseeing creative direction, budget and fulfillment of monthly subscriber-only mass mailings and new subscriber welcome kits

Synchronizing in-bound and out-bound communications with customer service

Assisting with community research projects

Staying abreast of competitive activity to maintain best practices

Executing agreed tactics to maximize the business

Supporting Senior Marketing Manager (SMM) on projects as required

QUALIFICATIONS:

2+ years community management or related experience, online preferred

At least one year of online, gaming, entertainment or consumer products experience

Experience with kid's products preferred

An avid gamer a plus

College degree

SPECIFIC SKILLS REQUIRED

Strong verbal, written and presentation skills

Self starter with high level of initiative and attention to detail

Ability to manage multiple projects, set priorities and meet deadlines

Ability to analyze and apply data to improve results

Excellent organizational skills

Passionate, committed and high level of energy

Strong sense of ownership and urgency

Team player

Computer skills: Excel, Powerpoint, Word, familiarity with Web applications
