Poker Room Supervisor - Grand

SUMMARY: Assist Poker Room Manager with the operation of the card room to ensure the integrity of the table games in accordance with established company and regulatory agency policies and procedures. Trains, supervises and coordinates the activities of card room personnel. Prepares and assigns work schedules. Resolves customer complaints and provides explanation and interpretation of house rules.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Report activities of poker room to poker room manager.

Responsible for the effective, smooth operation of all poker games.

Plans and directs the staffing, training, development and equitable treatment of all Poker personnel.

Ensure compliance with all policies and procedures.

Directs and monitors performance of department personnel.

Knowledge of the Casino Control Act and attendant regulations as well as Grand internal controls, policies and procedures.

Support and maintain Grand courtesy guidelines.

Promote outstanding guest relations.


EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Through knowledge of all casino games and operations as well as casino management

At least 60 months experience dealing or supervising any authorized table game of which at least 24 months will have been as a Pit Boss, Shift Manager, or Casino Manager

LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.

REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
