Print Services Senior Coordinator

The purpose of this position is to understand ADVO?s business as well as a basic knowledge of the print industry to assist Sales and clients with the development and execution of print orders. Act as a point person for problem solving and process knowledge. Maintain integrity of Zoned Products and/or Custom products as well as internal data to ensure accurate reporting of print revenues and expense. Partner with Print Services Manager and Supervisor along with daily interaction with internal and external strategic clients, on-site vendor, and print vendors to ensure A+ processing of client orders.

The Position Responsibilities include:
Utilize knowledge of ad design, print, and ADVO?s print processes and systems to ensure that client print orders are properly executed from the initial creative stage through the final printed piece.
Act as a Subject Matter Expert within and across regional teams.
Assist coordinators as needed to efficiently prepare ads for production.
Prioritize all incoming ADVO orders and/or proofs in order to maximize department efficiency.
Determine most productive and efficient manner to prioritize day-to-day workload and work flow.
Contact Sales/CS/client to resolve issues and/or gain clarification as required. Communicate
improvement opportunities to Management.
Review client art for adherence to production specifications and guidelines for acceptable advertising
(ADVO & government).
Coordinate corporate requirements for zoned national products (e.g. Missing Child Card, ShopWise Wrap).
Coordinate required steps for CSI-ADVO Printed (Custom Print) orders.
Respond to communications to ensuring that all client requirements are met for each promotion.
Partner with CS, CIS, and other functions to drive synergies and process efficiencies.
Utilize all capabilities of the Job Tracking System (JTS) to enter, track and report client order information.
Provide support to Sales and clients via print/ad design consultation and education of technical processes.
Maintain/build thorough knowledge of internal ADVO processes and general knowledge of print industry.

The positions minimum requirements are as follows:
Bachelor?s degree or equivalent experience
Ability to provide leadership skills
Creative thinking and innovative decision making
Previous lead experience preferred
Strong knowledge of 4-color printing/graphics process
Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills
Excellent interpersonal communication skills
Team and detail oriented
Ability to multi-task on major projects, troubleshoot and solve problems
Knowledge of Macintosh operating systems
Working knowledge of software packages (i.e. Quark Xpress, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe PhotoShop)
Basic PC knowledge
