Product Designer

Seiko Instrument's USA watch division, known as SII Marketing International, is a leader in the marketing, distribution and consumer service of specialty watches and clocks. These watches are marketed under such brand names as Disney, Barbie, Harry Potter, Lorus and Perry Ellis. We are looking for a talented individual to join our watch design team.

The position will be responsible for managing the entire process of watch design from concept to production. You will be responsible for researching trends in product, fashion and graphic design. You will be working with a development partner to design watch products that suit appropriate brand/categories. This position will work with the design team to present product, entire collections and the brand statement to our sales and marketing teams,as well as our licensors.

Requirements:

- Working knowledge of Illustrator, PhotoShop, Quark or InDesign.

- Bachelors degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts or Industrial Design desired.

- Strong presentation skills.

- Ability to work both individually and in team settings.

- Must be efficient at managing tight time lines.

- Retail experience helpful.
