Public Relations/Corporate Communications Writer

Metropolitan Jewish Health System is a recognized leader in the field of integrated health care that serves over 40,000 individuals and their families in the Greater Metropolitan New York area.? We are seeking?an experienced writer to develop internal and external communications such as press releases,?marketing collateral, newsletters, articles,?etc. This position works closely with members of senior management, key administrative staff and external contacts to implement structured communications programs.

Qualified candidates must have:

A bachelor?s degree in Communication, English, Journalism or other related fields plus??previous writing experience that includes working with the media.? Excellent writing, proofreading and communication strategy skills including knowledge of internal and external communications techniques and web-based applications and resources.??Health care and/or health policy experience is a plus.? Proficient Microsoft Office and PC skills and?a familiarity with photography. All candidates must include writing samples and/or portfolio to be considered.? ?
