Quality Assurance Tester

Activision Inc., the publisher of the hit titles Call of Duty? 2, Tony Hawk's American Wasteland?, X-Men? Legends II: Rise of Apocalypse and GUN? is looking for passionate gamers to join our Quality Assurance team. RESPONSIBILITIES:Test pre-release video games to verify functionality, data content, performance, usability/playability, and hardware/software compatibility Describe game discrepancies in an orderly and concise method

 

STATUS: Temporary Employment

WORK FREQUENCY: 40 hrs/week; weekends & overtime may be requested

AVAILABLE SHIFTS: Day (8:30 am - 5:30 pm)

Night (5:30 pm - 2:00 am)

Graveyard (12:30 am - 9:00 am)

SALARY: $9.00/hour for Day and Night Shift

 $9.90/hour for Graveyard Shift

 

Qualifications:18 years of age or older High school diploma or equivalent Superb work ethic Sharp attention to detail Strong interest in video games Aptitude to learn quickly and effectively Ability to remain focused in a team-oriented environment Basic PC knowledge, as well as being familiar with Microsoft programs such as Word, Excel, and Outlook Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communications Ability to work a designated schedule

 

Desired Qualifications:Hardcore gamer Previous testing experience Understanding of the software test cycle process PC and console game troubleshooting Experience and familiarity with multiple gaming platforms and genres
