Sales Support Represenative

Responsible for answering customer calls and entering customer orders. Solicits priority titles and programs via inbound and outbound calls. Assists in general account maintenance. Answers customer calls, enters customer orders, runs reports, and sends faxes. Solicits priority titles and programs. Resolves customer problems, provides ordering advice, and provides product information. Talks to prospective accounts. Makes outbound calls to review/discuss orders. Covers account base while sales representatives are out for an extended period of time. Assists in training new employees as needed. Participates in miscellaneous projects, as required. Performs some clerical duties. Previous sales customer service experience is requested, as well as some cold calling.



Ability to write simple correspondence and effectively present information customers and employees of the organization. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals and compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
