Senior Designer

High-end Las Vegas Sign Company is looking for an experienced Senior Designer to become part of its team. 


Duties:

*Creates new interior and exterior designs for sign projects, both commercially and within the gaming industry.

* Enhances design team accomplishments and competence by planning completion of design projects; answering technical and procedural questions for clients and less-experienced team members, mentoring team members.


* Plans design assignment by studying client's request; understanding function of the design


* Plans design concept by researching and analyzing desired design characteristics, such as, size, shape, weight, color, materials, ease of use, fit, and obtaining approval to proceed.


* Develops design by exploring alternative designs and revising designs.


* Illustrates design by preparing sketches by hand or by computer; constructing models.



* Obtains approval of design by presenting and explaining sketches and models.



* Prepares finished design by incorporating client revisions; creating detailed designs using drawings, models, computer simulations.


Skills/Qualifications:

MINIMUM 5 YEARS EXPERIENCE IN SIGN DESIGN.  Experience working on large commercial and casino projects involving electrical signage and wayfinding projects.  Strong Art background with experience in Corel Draw, Illustrator, and Photo Shop.
